Expect showers tonight
Welcome to Ashville First Baptist
What to expect:
When you arrive, you'll be welcomed by our Security Team or Greeters. They will be happy to guide you to the sanctuary, Youth/Children's building, or a Sunday School classroom.
We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable as they worship. When you arrive, you'll notice that our people dress ranges from very casual (blue jeans and tees) to suits and dresses. We welcome everyone to wear attire that makes them comfortable. So, come as you are, and you will fit right in with us!
We gather for Sunday Bible study at 9 AM and our worship service begins at 10 AM each week.
NEW SERMON SERIES BEGINS ON THIS COMING SUNDAY!
Our Interim Pastor, Dr. Ken Alford, will be beginning a new series of messages on this coming Sunday morning entitled, “Essentials for the Christian’s Journey.” He will be covering ten key aspects of a Christian’s journey of faith that are absolutely indispensable. The foundational principles with which this series will deal are vitally important for both new believers who are just beginning their faith journey and more mature Christians who may be bogged down in their walk with God. You are encouraged to be present for these sermons or to watch them online if you are unable to attend on any Sundays. Every follower of Christ can benefit from these basic, essential truths!
WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY SERIES
Our Interim Pastor, Dr. Ken Alford, has begun a new series of messages on Wednesdays. This series is entitled, "Night Class." Dr. Ken will be covering chapters 13-16 of the Gospel of John in this 14-part series. Join us in the Worship Center at 6 p.m. each Wednesday as we study the amazing truths that Jesus imparted to His disciples on the night before He died on the cross.
